Fred Silberman was established over 35 years ago. For the past 20 years, we have exclusively sold Italian furniture, lighting, mirrors and decorative accessories, produced between the years 1925 and 1960. Having been previously located on Madison Avenue and in SoHo, in 2000 we relocated to our present location in Chelsea. Our large gallery includes over 3,000 square feet of open space devoted to desks, living room, dining room and bedroom sets, in addition to numerous individual pieces. The cavernous room is filled with consoles, liquor cabinets and tables of every type, interlaced with mirrors, floor lamps, sconces and over 50 chandeliers. All pieces were designed and/or crafted by the foremost Italian names of the period - Gio Ponti, Fontana Arte, Paulo Buffa, Osvaldo Borsani, Pietro Chiesse, Guillermo Ulrich and many others.
